Create my albumRemove GPS and EXIF metadata before sharing photos
Photos may contain information you cannot see in the picture: GPS coordinates, camera model, capture date or editing software. The tool redraws pixels into a new image without copying source metadata. Prepare copies for public use while keeping the originals.
Example: before publishing pictures taken at home, create cleaned copies to avoid sharing any GPS coordinates recorded by your phone.
How to use this tool
- Add the photos you want to clean.
- Choose an output format and quality.
- Download the new copies and share those files rather than the originals.
Frequently asked questions
Does this hide information visible in the picture?
No. A number plate, address or face remains visible in the pixels. Crop or edit these elements separately when needed.
Is quality completely unchanged?
No. JPEG and WebP re-encode pixels at the chosen quality. Embedded profiles are not copied. PNG provides an output without lossy compression after decoding.
Are animations and HEIC files preserved?
Animated images become still images. HEIC is converted for processing. Use batch renaming to preserve original files and their metadata.
